Princess

Princess

Staffy x - female

Princess ended up at the local pound and after her owner never collected it was discovered she was pregnant. DCH took Princess and her 10 Puppies into care and while her puppies have thrived and are now ready for their homes we are hoping that someone will choose Princess.

I'm a 2 year old staffy x looking for my perfect match. I love going for walks and long car rides and I can run and chase a ball for hours

I love other dogs but humans are my favourite things in the whole entire world
I would love to be with my perfect match for most of the day so if I could come to work with you then I would be in heaven

I'm very obedient and can already sit and shake hands and I also love my dinner although I do watch my weight

I do need secure fencing to keep me safe but if you are my perfect match then I am desperately wanting to meet you

If you can give Princess the loving home she deserves please come and meet her and give this beautiful girl a chance, she would be a wonderful addition to your home.

Bernard

Bernard

Pugalier - male

Hi all, Iā€™m Bernard - an appropriate name donā€™t you think? I was dumped on a fire trail just over a month ago and have been terrified ever since. No one knows my history but me, but Iā€™m slowly coming out of my bed and wandering around my foster carerā€™s yard and house. When I was picked up from the Pound, my carer was told I had no personality. That probably was right at the time because I was suffering from a chest infection which the Vet picked up straight away. Iā€™m over that now, about to lose my boy bits (whatever that means) and getting ready to move on to a permanent home. I am still scared of humans; I donā€™t run away now, I just cower in my bed and wait for a pat. I donā€™t know how to walk on a lead at the moment, so Iā€™m carried everywhere if I need to go in the car. I am slowly getting used to receiving treats by hand but as soon as Iā€™m used to it, I get shy again and have to learn how to do it all over. I have a good appetite and itā€™s not unusual for the sound of the steel plate to travel along the tiled floor for a few minutes after Iā€™ve finished as I donā€™t want to waste anything. In fact, I clean up my fellow furfriendsā€™ plates too. Whilst I donā€™t socialise with my housemates, I met a visiting 2 year old Spitzoodle last week. We played chasings and we all had a great time. My carer hadnā€™t seen me run, only walk so she knows thereā€™s nothing standing in my way to having some fun times with another canine. I currently weigh 10kgs but as I learn how to walk and get more exercise, my figure will become more shapely.
I seem to be awake at any time of the night when my carer covers me up with a blanket and am getting used to her carrying me and sitting next to me on the lounge, if only for a short period of time.
I will be ready for adoption around 24th August at which time a meet and greet would be wonderful. If youā€™re ready for a great furfriend, please send my carer an expression of interest outlining the lifestyle you can offer me. I am a special boy and will need a special future. Bye for now, love Bernie xx
