Herbie

Herbie

Staffy x - male

Herbie is an all white 'Love Bug'. He loves to cuddle and is such a big sook. He is always the first to run up to you and say hello. He can be quite shy, especially around men. But once he gets to know you, he is super sweet! He has spent all his time with other dogs and people and I think he will do really well in a home that has people around often to play with and love him or a home that may have another dog. If he could go to a home with his brother he would love it! He does get along well with young children too and when he grows up, he will be a wonderful companion.

Herbie was adopted on 03 May 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Saffron, Milli

Saffron, Milli

staffy x

Saffron (Saffie, brindle girl) She is an adventurous little girl who loves to explore and to cuddle.

Milli (brindle)

Pint sized, but what she loses in size she makes up for in character. she is a very special girl who loves cuddles with people and the other puppies.

These pups are being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Saffron, Milli was adopted on 03 May 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Vader

Vader

DSH - male

Vader, is a very well rounded gentleman. He seems to be a bit of a neat freak and cleans all the other cats at bedtime. He has a lovely nature. He is very playful and also very loving. He will go tearing around the house with his sister and when he takes a break have a cuddle. He is also very protective of his sister Mittens and it would be wonderful if they could be re-homed together, but he is available seperately too. Vader is not afraid of anything, including dogs, so he'd fit into a home with a cat friendly dog.

Vader was adopted on 03 May 2010 after 4 months in foster care

Ned

Ned

Roan Cocker Spaniel - male

great with kids and other dogs. He is a very gentle and lovely natured dog and is house trained. Ned loves to play fetch and walks well on a lead. He is very typical of the breed and does have some separation issues so he would suit someone who is home quite a lot and prepared to spend lots of time with him.

Ned was adopted on 02 May 2010 after 2 weeks in foster care

Daisy

Daisy

Kelpie x - female

Free to good home dog

She is a very energetic dog but most of all just likes company. She enjoys walks and would chase a ball all day. She can be a little excitable if she hasn't seen people for a while or been on a walk. By that I mean she may jump or lick. She is a very affectionate friendly dog, who has never been afraid of storms. The only time she barks is at the lawn mower, hair dryer or vacuum cleaner. She is desexed, we have owned her for about 3 years and she is very healthy although has put on a couple of extra kilos lately as I have had less and less time to spend with her. She is very well behaved with our 2 year old, only getting frustrated when she won't through the ball. She has never bitten or been aggressive in any way, just her size compared to a small child means they fall down easily :) Daisy would need a well-fenced yard as being a Kelpie she is quite athletic. We are rehoming her as we just don't have the time to spend with her that she deserves.

Daisy was adopted on 01 May 2010 after 1 month in foster care

Toby

Toby

Pug x Beagle - male

Toby is a friendly, energetic young dog who can still act like a puppy. He loves kids and other dogs although still needs to learn some social skills as he can be a little bit annoying for some dogs. He would very much suit an active family and would be great with another energetic dog. He is learning housetraining and is doing great, I think this is because he absolutely loves being inside with everybody. He is quite good to walk on a lead and is fantastic in the car which he loves. Toby will need some ongoing training to become a wonderful member of the family. He is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Toby was adopted on 01 May 2010 after 2 months in foster care

Coco

Coco

Terrier x - female

Gentle, quiet nature. Timid at first but once she gets to know you/her surroundings, she is very easy going. Coco is social with other dogs, and appears ok around cats (she said hello to the cat at the vet). She loves cuddles but also happy to sit on her own, she isn't demanding at all. Coco knows basic commands (needs further reinforcement and training) and she has good manners around food.

Coco was adopted on 29 April 2010 after 2 weeks in foster care

Rosie

Rosie

medium size Rotti x - female

While she can be a little excitable, Rosie knows SIT and loves FETCH. Being a bit rambunctious, she would probably not suit children under 10 but is good with other dogs and is VERY smart.

Rosie was adopted on 29 April 2010 after 4 weeks in foster care

Dominic

Dominic

Border Collie x Kelpie - female

If you love attention then Dom is your girl! She is never more than a few feet away and always looking for some attention! Dom is very easy to befriend and extremely placid!! Dom is also easily contented. Both Dom and her sibling Cleo (above) were very apprehensive about walking on the lead but Dom turned out to be a natural, holding her head high everytime she goes out now.

Dominic was adopted on 29 April 2010 after 1 month in foster care

Holly

Holly

DSH - female

Holly is a very placid and gentle girl. She loves a pat and to snuggle up in bed at night. She has beautifully soft fur with a bushy tail. Holly was born in a family home and then surrendered to DCH Animal Adoptions. She has been in her foster home with other cats, dogs and children, and because of her carefree nature will make a lovely family pet.
