Meet Valentine

.
.The lovely Miss Valentine is Desexed, Vaccinated (until March 2026), and you and your family are very welcome to arrange a meeting to see if Val is the right girl for you!

The Ginger Ninja's...Valentine and her sister Veronica came into DCH care from a rural property at Luddenham when they were scared, hungry, 3-4 month old kittens, in 2023.
🐾Orange female cats are quite uncommon, so ginger sisters was quite a surprise!🐾

Veronica has been adopted, so now it’s Val’s turn to find her cat-people!

Valentine is a very graceful and curious young lady who would be perfectly suited to an older person/family, plus excellent company for another cat/s or cat-safe dog/s. Once she trusts you, Val is an affectionate and interactive companion but she is not a “cuddly” cat, so not recommended for children. (Although quite happy to sleep, curled up behind your knees! 😻)

Valentine dislikes being carried around (until she trusts you), but loves pats, brushes, food treats, and of course a sunny windowsil! Flying insects will keep her occupied for hours, plus she does love a laser light or chase toy - natural hunting instincts are strong with this one!

The reduced adoption fee is $160 and Valentine is:

  • Microchipped,
  • Wormed & Flea treated regularly,
  • Litter-trained,
  • Vaccinated (until March 2026),
  • Desexed
  • MEDICAL: Valentine has been placed on monthly injections ($60) to treat pain and inflammation of her gums/teeth.

So she lives her best and longest life, Valentine must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat (but of course this can include access to a SECURE outdoor area or enclosure).
I am currently trialling her on a harness … tbc

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in meeting Valentine. Just include in your email, whether you’ve owned cats before, and why you’re genuinely interested in adopting Valentine.

  • In the current economic climate, please also consider annual vet fees and future feeding costs before committing to adopt

  • Valentine has been in foster care since 10 February 2023, for 2.3 years
