Sabrina

Sabrina

Domestic short hair - female - 1 year and 4 months

Sabrina came into DCH care as a young mum of 7 kittens with cat flu. Sabrina and 4 of her kittens survived cat flu under DCH care. She recovered within a week, without any lasting effects. She is a beautiful, smoochy, friendly cat who loves nothing more than to cuddle and snuggle with you.

She is an extremely friendly cat. She is fantastic with children and adults. She is friendly with other cats when introduced properly. She is currently untested with dogs. She loves to play with cat toys like plushies and balls. She also likes climbing cat trees and sitting next to you when you're watching tv or reading.

Sabrina is litter-trained, quiet, and loves dry and wet cat food. She is respectful of furniture, clothes and shoes. She does love a good scratch on a scratching post. She has been microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. She is ready to join her forever family now.

If you are looking for a cat who is serene, calm, smoochy and low-maintenance, Sabrina would love to meet you.

Sabrina has been in foster care since 25 February 2024, for 2 months

Skye

Skye

Domestic short hair - female - 3 months and 1 weeks

Skye is a very special kitten and is looking for an extraordinary family to love her. She came into DCH care with her mama (Sabrina) and 6 siblings, all suffering from cat flu. Whilst Skye was one of 4 siblings who survived cat flu with mama, she suffered permanent blindness in her left eye, and was also born with cerebellar hypoplasia (aka "wobbly cat syndrome"), a rare neurological disorder that causes swaying while standing or walking/running. However, the disorder is not progressive nor contagious, and she is perfectly fine in every other way.

Skye is playful, affectionate, sweet and obviously a warrior. She has plenty of spirit and personality and never lets her physical challenges get her down. She loves climbing cat trees, playing with her siblings and kitten toys (such as balls and plushies), and coming in for cuddles and snuggles.

She loves wet and dry kitten food. She is toilet-trained on pellets and crystals. She is respectful of furniture, clothes and shoes. She is fantastic with other kittens, cats, children and adults. She is quiet and incredibly inspiring to live with - she never lets anything get her down.

Skye will be available to join her forever home in August 2024 after she has an operation to remove her blind eye (she needs to be 6 months for the operation to have a best chance of success). Looking after Skye is just like looking after a normal kitten. She is strong, can see clearly in her other eye and is getting better at controlling her wobbliness.

If you are looking for an extraordinary kitten who is sweet, affectionate, playful, and brave, Skye would love to meet you.

Skye has been in foster care since 25 February 2024, for 2 months

Daisy

Daisy

Domestic Short Hair - female - 5 months and 3 weeks

Daisy should have been named Dennis-the-menace as she is the most playful kitten her foster carer has come across!
She is constantly running around the house, jumping on toys, wrestling the resident cat, climbing onto the indoor pot plants, batting at your toes and loving life. She is a super energetic cat and LOVES playing...whether it's chasing toys, climbing the scratching tree, swiping at feathers or jumping on your head as you sleep.

Daisy likely won't be a super snuggly, cuddly type of cat, but she will have a snooze beside you, and you can pick her up for a smooch and a cuddle....she would just rather be active and playing! She starts purring instantly whenever you pat her, and she will definitely keep you entertained with her antics.

Because of her outgoing personality she must be rehomed to a household with an existing cat, and a strictly indoor only home. (She would be a proficient hunter and decimate wildlife if allowed outside!) Daisy is going through a phase of playing and trying to wrestle with your hand so is better suited to a home without young children at this time.

Daisy has never had a toileting accident and always uses her litter tray, and we're teaching her to use her scratching post consistently. She is available to meet and greet in Riverstone, NSW and will be able to go to her new home as soon as she is desexed.

Daisy has been in foster care since 06 March 2024, for 2 months

Pixma

Pixma

Domestic Short Hair - female - 1 year and 8 months

Meet Pixma, affectionately known as Pixie, a nurturing and loving mother of three who is now ready to find her own forever home. This confident and petite lady has a heart as warm as her constant purrs, which can be heard from miles away as a testament to her contentment and affectionate nature.

Pixie is a cat who knows what she wants - pats and cuddles are non-negotiable for her, and she'll happily hop onto any available lap to get them. She particularly enjoys snuggling up on chests, though her choice of positioning might involve her bum being in your face! She also adores head bumps and is always on the lookout for surfaces where she can make her daily biscuits, showing off her contentment and comfort.

When she's not seeking affection, Pixie loves basking in sunbeams and exploring tall bookshelves, indulging in her playful side and seeking out new adventures. However, she's also looking forward to some well-deserved rest and relaxation once her kittens find their forever homes, knowing that she too deserves a loving family and a cozy spot to call her own.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a sweet and affectionate feline companion who brings joy and warmth wherever she goes, Pixie is eagerly awaiting the chance to become your new best friend.

Has been 1st Vaccinated, Desexed, Microchipped.
